I am porting my number. Will I lose service during activation?

As you await Flight Mobile to transfer your number, your previous service will continue to operate without any interruptions. It will remain active until you receive an in-app notification and/or an email confirming the successful activation of your Flight Mobile service. Once you receive this notification, your old carrier’s SIM will no longer function.

During the activation process, it’s crucial to stay connected to a Wi-Fi network to ensure you receive timely notifications regarding the activation progress. Upon receiving the confirmation, you can proceed to insert your Flight Mobile SIM.

Wondering about the process of number porting with Flight Mobile?

Using your current carrier’s account number, transfer PIN and billing ZIP code within the app, we trigger a request to your carrier, asking them to release your number to Flight Mobile. Typically, this part of the process takes about 2-4 hours, although in exceptional cases, it might take a few days for a landline number to transfer.
